Slim Aarons (1916-2006) was a renowned photographer who chronicled the lives of high society, aristocracy, and cultural icons during a career spanning over 50 years. He captured a bygone era of wealth, beauty, and leisure, depicting a world separate from the cultural and political events of the latter half of the 20th century.
All our artwork is printed on premium artist-grade paper at museum quality using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper. A Photo Print on Fuji Crystal DP II meets the most demanding standards. It is crisp, brilliant, and the colours are luminous.
FRAMES Our Frames are handmade from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a satin finish. Each frame is fitted with True Vu museum glass to minimize annoying reflections. And come in silk black, pure white and walnut brown. The frames have a 20mm slim face and 35mm pronounced depth.
With the Classic frames the images come with a slim 1cm white border and a 5cm mat board border all around. The snow-white mat is 2mm thick and angled cut for an elevated look and will not discolour or fade with age.
With the Full Bleed frames the photo will be recessed into the frame, creating a space between the glass and the photo.
When you order a piece, a signed Certificate of Authenticity is shipped directly which ensures the piece has been made to meet fine art specifications. Certificates of Authenticity are signed, editioned (Limited Editions), and shipped separately to guarantee the highest standards of quality control. Once a limited edition is sold out it will not be restocked.
